LOCAL CONTENT POLICY

Background

In response to Federal Government directive on development of Nigerian content (an initiative aimed at providing opportunities to Nigerian resources utilization and capacity development), it became necessary for all oil and gas operators within Nigeria to develop strategic initiatives and plans to actualize Federal Government target.


On this premise, in 2009, SPDC discovered us in an exhibition and immediately took interest in us. Since that momentous event, we have striven to use our advantage to make the profound impact on the Oil and Gas industries.


Egba Split Clamps is wholly an indigenous company. Our work force is one hundred percent Nigerian, and we shall continue to maintain this position. As part of NCD policy, Egba Split Clamps Ltd. shall train local (Nigerian) personnel to acquire advanced knowledge and technical expertise on every aspect of our operations. Only in circumstances where local materials are not available shall we consider foreign options. In addition, our sub-contractors and suppliers shall be from the local (Nigerian) environment except where not applicable or found to affect our product's standard.
